Today, to better celebrate extraordinary acts of service by 911 professionals, Prepared is proud to announce a partnership with Positive 911. Founded by industry veteran Ty Wooten, who operates the organization alongside 911 professional Alyssa Eichholtz, Positive 911 is dedicated to reimagining 911 recognition by setting a new standard of innovation, creativity, and leadership that elevates the profession.

“I founded Positive 911 because I saw a fundamental issue in our space that needed to change. Innovation, one of our core values, is at the heart of everything we do. We’re always looking to find a way to improve the status quo,” says Wooten, “In Prepared, we’ve found a partner that shares that passion and drive. We were drawn to their bold vision, their commitment, and their desire to ensure 911 professionals receive the recognition they deserve. We couldn’t be more excited to work with them.”

Wooten boasts more than 30 years of experience in 911, including nearly a decade at NENA, in which he’s worn the headset, operated in the field, and served as a Director. Currently, alongside his role at Positive 911, he serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED). In addition to her role as VP of Marketing, Eichholtz currently serves as an Assistant Supervisor for Hancock County 911 and has previously served as Public Information Officer. Both Wooten and Eichholtz hold ENPs from NENA.

“It’s impossible to operate in the 911 ecosystem and not be familiar with Ty and his work. The opportunity to partner with Positive 911 is an exciting chance for us to further our efforts to celebrate the amazing professionals that form the backbone of public safety in this country,” says Prepared CEO Michael Chime.

Through the partnership, Prepared and Positive 911 will collectively recognize 911 professionals from Prepared’s 1,000+ partner agencies around the country, celebrating their service of their communities and shining a spotlight on their success across five key outcomes:

  • Life Saved
  • Child Delivered
  • Callers in Crisis
  • Support in Apprehension of a Suspect
  • Fire Save
